They are durable (my daughter has it for 2 years, no tear), machine washable, inner pocket for important documents, 2 bottle pockets, some have a front clip my kids use to attach their lunch box! Many stylish designs.. even pink dinosaurs!
Staedtler pencils
According to teachers, Staedtler pencils are very durable. Avoid Crayola as they tend to break easily as I read from many teachers. Color pencils or HB, definitely a back to school must-have!

A timer is a must-have to help the child learn to manage time spent and to prepare to transitions. In my family we love to use it to limit breakfast length, transition time before diner, time for homeworks, time left to read at night. The kids love to track time with it!
